Wayne Drews has a BS in Industrial Engineering and is a Registered Professional Engineer. After a successful business career in technology companies, he elected to leave his vice president position to pursue a long-held passion for history. He earned a Master’s degree in the history of technology and society from Georgia Tech and has completed his dissertation for a PhD. His area of research related to the history of technology, public policy, and competition in the telecommunications industry and resultant impacts within in the United States. He has taught courses on modern American history at the university level for seven years.
