Profile
William E. Allen obtained his Ph. D in history in 2002 at Florida International University, Miami. His field is Africa, with specialty in West African history, Atlantic slavery, and social and cultural history of West African Atlantic communities. Courses taught are
History of West Africa, The Africans in Diaspora, Introduction to the Atlantic World, and World History. His publications include the following:
